About Stylus "Classic"

Breaking onto the scene in 2002, the original Stylus - Vinyl Groove Module (aka: Stylus Classic) was the world's first groove-based virtual instrument - integrating a large library of cutting-edge groove elements, loops and samples with a powerful, yet easy to understand user interface based on the original UVI engine. Utilizing the proprietary "Groove Control®" method Spectrasonics developed to sync stereo audio loops to a song's tempo, Stylus "Classic" became a must-have plug-in, eventually becoming the largest selling virtual instrument of its day. All the sounds and grooves from Stylus "Classic" are included in Spectrasonics' Stylus RMX, which is based on our own in-house developed S.A.G.E. engine technology.
